Given the brief to design a separate rentable studio at the Southern end of a tight corner site, we faced multiple challenges from local regulations, solar considerations, and limited space. Out of these constraints, the ingenious ... the wedge concept was born, exemplifying how environmental factors played a crucial role in shaping its form.

“We’ve worked with Architecture ETAL on many projects over the last few years in Wanaka, which is why I have the full confidence to recommend them to anyone with a building project ahead. Whether it has been designing a small studio or a complex architectural home, they have always provided well considered, inspired ideas and concepts to elevate the functionality and appearance of our projects. We have always received glowing feedback from our clients after collaborating with Architecture ETAL to design their homes, and I can attest to the fact that Hamish has the patience of a saint after countless phone calls from me on site as we bring to life technical bespoke detailing on our projects.” - J Flett
